Walking with you  and Taking The Roads Less Traveled

Thank you for taking your time to visit Capital Research Advisors, LLC. As an investment management firm, we hope this is informative, educational, thought provoking and helpful to you. Taking the road less traveled is, of course a reference to Robert Frost’s seminal poem “The Road Not Taken”:

“ . . . Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”

The poem speaks of choices and consequences; decisions and results.  The final line addresses the impact of following one’s own course – decisions to take the road less traveled.

The investment management, money management, investment advisory, and financial planning industry, while each of these disciplines have different objectives, they each exist for one purpose – to make a profit.  As a consumer of these services, it might be helpful to you to consider the motivation of those you choose to work for you and with you in the decisions made effecting your financial life.  Decisions and their motivations lead to consequences.

We believe that our motivation, approach and disciplines have led us to consistently take the road less traveled.  Why is that?

Our motivations are to do the things we believe are in your interest first, in the disciplined ways we know, for the motive of creating a desired long term result for you.

After many roads traveled and the course of decisions made, we have determined the way to operate that helps us focus on your needs is for us to operate in a fiduciary, fully disclosed costs relationship, to be motivated by the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Our desire is that one day you will say of us as you look at our adoption of the relationship we desire to benefit you,  “And that has made all the difference.”

A great deal is written in the investment management world and the concept of fiduciary duty.  Many organizations have sophisticated statements describing their approach.  Ours is simple, Golden Rule motivation, fully disclosed costs, do all we can to create no conflict of interest from commissions.

Besides our time tested approach to investment management and investment advisory, the risks and returns of each, taking the road less traveled has made all the difference for our clients, our firm and our families. We desire for it to make a difference in your family as well.
